Reading St. Paul
by Scott D. Hendricks
You must always read the venerable Epistles of Paul, in order to learn from them the dogmas of the Orthodox Faith, the traditions of the holy Apostles, the duties of the Christian life, and also how to avoid the vices and acquire the Christian virtues. You must especially read these Epistles on Sundays and other holy days. . . . If you do this, within a short period of time you will receive a strange transformation in your character and life; for the Epistles of blessed Paul have such a supernatural power of transfiguring men, and of rendering wolves sheep, the irrational rational, the wild tame, and the wicked good.
